Ive got virus problems, any ideas?

I has virus or spywares, when i open up teh Internets Asplorer it goes to some random page with viagra ads. I ad-aware scanned and that POS came up with nothing, im norton antivirus scanning now.

look for a program called cw shredder....should take care of that....when i get home ill put it on my ftp and you can dl it....but it should take care of that

I did that, duffy, didnt help.

My Norton scan came up with nothing. This is very annoying. Also, i get a folder in my favorites that says "Free Hardcore Porn" with no links in it and i delete it, but when i restart my comp it's still there.

well heres what i do whenever im working on other computers

download all the spyware software you can possibly find....i recommend this program by bulletproof software...cant remember the name

boot into safe mode

run the spyware programs

go manually into your program files and c drive and delete everything

go to all internet objects under (its in advanced or settings or something in the main internet tools page) delete everything except the macromedia plugins

go into the registry and delete everything in your microsoft >windows >run thingy

just overall get rid of EVERYTHING (DONT use add remove programs just waste of time) or worst case reinstall ie while you're in safemode

once again i recommend just getting firefox....not cause its better or anything but because it will save you time instead of fucking around with this garbage

HijackThis is also a good program to run as well, especially when you have a broswer hijacker.

This is why you never click on links that say "OMG FREE HARDCORE PRONZ XXX" or use internet EXPLODER. Or a combination of both! D:~
