Steppenwolf Posted August 12, 2012 Author Report Posted August 12, 2012 Not sure if it has been told somewhere before, but: How does the gameplay work in INS2? Will there be basically 5-cp maps like in INS before? Are there any "smaller" gamemodes, where the focus would basically be just KotH type of thing in a rather small maps? Yes most maps are rather small with a central objective. The biggest map right now is Baghdad. If you remember it from INS1. It only goes from the mosque to the gas station now (with a couple new routes tho). Just saw that the info on the website has been updated. Can take a look there too: http://www.insurgency2.com/about/ Quote
D3ads Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Just read on the forums there's a Libya campaign... how's that going to work? I've got a few obscure links of photos from both wars in Chechnya, let me know if you're interested... Quote
D3ads Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 Because Im gay... and I've misplaced the old favourites backup with the links in I wouldn't be surprised if they don't bloody work anymore. I'll try and sort it out... Quote

RedYager Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 Great pictures, thanks for sharing. Some of those home made weapons are nuts, I like this one which is a Mosin Nagant with a hand crafted stock. Quote
Steppenwolf Posted August 20, 2012 Author Report Posted August 20, 2012 Nice refs! Love the homebrew weapons. Quote
Steppenwolf Posted August 23, 2012 Author Report Posted August 23, 2012 If anyone is interested Destructoid will show the game live in a bit (i think half an hour from now). http://de.twitch.tv/destructoid Quote
D3ads Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 Recovered some of my galleries for Chechnya, unfortunately some of them are dead links so there isn't as much here as there once was... D3ads Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 I'm loving the flying plastic bags . I liked that too Since that's alpha, I'm guessing you still have to detail some areas of the map? There were a lot of flat looking corridors and blocky brushwork (like the angled hole in the floor) which are very distracting considering the original Insurgency maps were very detailed. Looks pretty cool so far though, now post some Chechnya media so I can tell you how everything's wrong Quote
