e-freak Posted July 28, 2012 Report Posted July 28, 2012 what is woopra.com and why does mapcore require me to unblock it (using noscript) Quote
D3ads Posted July 28, 2012 Report Posted July 28, 2012 Woopra (play /ˈwuːprə/) is a web analytics and customer engagement service offered by Woopra, Inc. It gives its users the ability to automatically and manually interact with and engage individual visitors in addition to the more traditional analytics functions. The service is provided through a desktop class web application and an iOS app. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woopra Gotta love Google Quote
Pampers Posted July 29, 2012 Report Posted July 29, 2012 use ghostery instead of noscript, much better Quote
Thrik Posted July 29, 2012 Report Posted July 29, 2012 Yeah pretty much what D3ads' quote says. It's an analytics service (like Google Analytics) so the forum can track things like screen resolutions, web browser versions, and let me know what kind of forums/threads are most popular to better inform what the new version of the forums supports (which is believe it or not rapidly nearing completion). Not going to cause any problems if you choose to block it. Quote
