why do you motherfuckers love this game but not Serious Sam 3

fuck

U mad bro? That's like comparing apples with oranges. Serious Sam 3 is something you get at the Mcdrive while Wolf is a 5 star dinner at a fancy restaurant. Sam is like toothless crack whore who does anything for 5 dollars while Wolf is a high class escort for elitists. Sam offers quick mindless fun while Wolf offers a deep narrative and is context driven.

Ok, play around 8h, I'm near the end of the game i think, I just went back to London Nautica with codes.

For those who are still hesitating on the game :

Now i will call this gun as "the best gun in video game history who mothafucka blow up people and allow you to draw penises"

Just finished playing this, really enjoyed it, the best straight up FPS I've played in quite a few years. I liked the exploratory level design with the number of secrets to be found, the characters and the gunplay (after playing so much COD over recent years it's nice to once again have a game where enemies explode satisfyingly). If I had to pick fault with it I'd say I didn't like the way the cutscenes were integrated - the scenes themselves were cool but the whole 'press button to initiate cutscene' thing was quite obvious and immersion breaking - would have been nice to have more interactive scenes.

That, and the level of polish that seemed apparent in the early levels seemed to fall by the wayside somewhat. Examples would be how in the first proper level I found an AA gun and saw a large robot walking nearby, and decided to see what would happen if I used the AA gun to shoot it. Turns out you can destroy it, leading to a congratulatory response from one of your team. This was cool because it was totally incidental and didn't tie into anything mission related or even trophy/achievement based. Another time I found a car in a garage and got into the driver seat, where BJ started making car noises and pretending to drive it. I found switches on a wall which I started messing with and eventually had a nearby cabinet move to one side and reveal a secret room. All these things were awesome, but as the game went on they became less and less frequent - I don't remember anything similar in the last half of the game at least and the levels started to seem a bit more linear.

I also wasn't a fan of the train yard or sewer levels, I feel like I've been in those environments far too many times in FPS games now and I appreciated Wolfenstein more when it was taking me to places that weren't so ordinary. Overall though, great game that was at times funny, inventive and never really got boring. Great job by DKM and the Machinegames guys.

Just starting replaying a few missions for fun on death incarnate. I booted up the asylum level and it took me 3 minutes to get to Anya outside and end the level. Incredible looking level, fun little layout for what's there, and it took me 3 minutes. This is the shit that breaks my heart.

Should have been like a 5 story death stroll down to the bottom into the courtyard but it probably wouldn't fit in memory on 360 or some shit so fuck it, some cut scene and 3 min gun fight. AAA development fuck yeah.

I mean I'm not even criticizing the game, I've made shit for games with the same problem, large scope level in your stupid head, ultimately end up chopping that shit into 4 chunks so the console doesn't crash the fuck out and you end up with a less than ideal disjointed level flow. Then you play dota for 10 hours a day to ease the pain.

Finished my 2nd playthough because I fucking love this game so much. During this playthrough I scavenged and unlocked everything and I managed to find some funny little easter eggs along the way:

Greentooth in the basement where you interrogate the nazi.

Quake3 rocket launcher key ring.

Stumbled upon this radio in the labor camp level and heard some beeping that might be actual morse code. Translated it, and it said "ass ass titties". Found some other radios throughout the game but they had morse codeish things that were just gibberish.

Oddly familiar contraption in this elevator in the level where the skyscraper is under construction.

Fucking love this game... going for a second playthrough this time saving 'Captain Price' :P ...I'm the only guy at my work that's played it that actually saved Wyatt. Everyone else said he was the most developed by that point, my rationale was simply I thought he could 'take it' and the young guy couldn't.

Didn't even realise I missed a whole character in the Hub. 'J' was very cool, Tekla better be as awesome! :)

Hah, glad you guys like it! Read better feedbacks than I thought the game would get, that's cool :)

I personally prefer Fergus to Wyatt but I prefer Wyatt's timeline. Oh well!

(and I didn't even know about that morse code even though it's in my level...)
