Played it for some 3-4 hours, it's pretty good so far. However one thing that really drags it down for me is how floaty and unresponsive the driving feels. In a post-GTA V world then the driving mechanics just feel really unpolished, or maybe it's just a matter of me having gotten a bit too used to GTA V'ish snappy car grip. Not super thrilled about the feel of the shooting either.

Visually it's something of a mixed bag, but in general it looks quite good. Again, in a post GTA V world then it just pales in comparison, and that from playing this on a PS4.

Don't believe the hype. This is just another Assassin's Creed debacle where Ubisoft Montreal failed to optimize their game. IF you can miraculously load into the game without becoming frustrated, the game play is interesting. However, very over hyped, I spent the last two hours attempting to play through the game with intermittent freezing and skipping making the game unplayable. I have a GTX 760 Overclocked 4MB and I cannot run this game. I meet all of the specifications and the game still runs like crap. Don't waste your money. ------ For obvious reasons, the fan boys will disagree, however many people are experiencing these same issues including stuttering and freezing during driving, general game play, crashes, or not being able to start the game. I wanted to like this game, I was anticipating this game for two years., and now I want my money back.

@Mazy: it's (unfortunately) clear from a simple randomly picked recent video that the car is basically just pivoting on it's central axis. Ridiculous, and not because of GTA5. Despite they throw 2000 staff at these projects, you can easily find indies doing better… and I think I've read that they even knocked at the door of the Driver's devs? O.o

Its the same thing when it comes to E3 demos. These days almost nothing that is in an E3 demo from lighting, particles, models, bespoke anims etc doesn't get put in the full release.

Regardless of how they did it, they knew the end product wouldn't be able to be like that.
