I enjoyed Quantum, but I do feel it tried to be a bit too clever and sophisticated with its plot for its own good — it lacked the clear and emotional power of Casino Royale, which remains an absolutely incredible film. I really hope they've managed to find the right balance with this one, taking the scope of the plot beyond Casino so it's a 'big' story but without losing focus.

Also it looks like Javier Bardem is the villain, which is awesome. Doubt his performance will be like his ultra-creepy persona in No Country for Old Men, though.

This trailer doesn't get me pumped, it's pretty poor :/

I absolutely hated quantum of solace so I'm hoping the new writer and new director can bring us back to a film worth watching. (Something like Casino Royale please!)

Yeah the trailer wasn't that great...however I think the underlying movie could actually be way better than the trailer indicates if this is more raw like Casino Royale as has been said.

The thing I hated most about QoS was the editing. Especially in the beginning, with the car chase, it was cut so fast that you couldn't see shit. I hate that!
