knj Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 I don't know why there is'nt a post about this game the trailer is again BRR br and shit, but i still like it, and most of all i liked the MOH 2011, and i got big hopes for this one (very nostalgic about MOH anyways) Quote
Puddy Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 Need to see a lot more of the game before I'm saying yay or nay. I doubt it'll be more interesting than BF3 in any event... which doesn't make me too interested. Quote
Skjalg Posted April 16, 2012 Report Posted April 16, 2012 I think the SP will be super duper awesome Quote
KungFuSquirrel Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 The 2010 MOH was a damn solid game, so I'm really looking forward to this one. Though based on that trailer I see that since they've switched the SP to Frostbite they too have decided to make lots of night missions. Quote
mjens Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 I guess this one will be less buggy than latest MOH. Still it was a nice game and if they will polish it, this can be a nice game! Quote
Rick_D Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 no disrespect to anyone but i am getting quite tired of the world view/satellite stuff in games these days. it was a good idea in 2007 but it starts to feel a little cliched. that said i did enjoy the previous MOH, it had a really nice pacing and felt like a solid quasi-realistic game that didn't throw waves and waves of enemies on you unless it felt right. Totally agreed, and when they did it had that real "oh shit we're being overrun" feeling vs. "raaar I shall charge and murder you all," and even had you fall back a few times. Nicely done. Quote
kleinluka Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 I'll get it for sure, if only because I love the special forces theme. The trailer looks promising, can't wait to see more ! Quote
PogoP Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 JACMDFPS. Just Another Crappy Modern Day First Person Shooter. That's the new acronym I'm gonna use every time another one of these shitty games comes out. Quote
Puddy Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Doesn't really roll off the tongue. You should go for a backronym! Quote
PogoP Posted April 17, 2012 Report Posted April 17, 2012 Pronounce like this: Jack MD. FPS. You'll sound like a film noir detective. Or a doctor or some shit. Quote

Sprony Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 I had a lot more fun with MOH 2011 then I did with Modern Warfare 3. I started MW3, played for 5 minutes and thought, another mission pack, no thanks. Battlefied 3 has awesome MP but I only played the SP for 10 minutes or so. I was very impressed and then all of sudden I get the message "Return to the combat zone". I immediately quit the game. I'm so sick of these shooters treating players as morons. Walk here, watch cutscene there, press here, breach door, return to combat zone, etc. No, I rather replay Half Life, Far Cry, Crysis 1 or the Stalker series. I'm certainly going to try this one, but the trailer suggests, atleast to me, it's going to be more like COD and if that's the case, it won't be for me. Quote
