PogoP Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 Yeah.. Disaronno and Coke is AMAZING! Love that stuff. Quote
Thrik Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Like most 20-something Brits I tend to drink a lot of cider, mostly: I used to really like this but I've not seen it around for a good few years now: Don't really see any other worthwhile white/sweet beers in supermarkets. Might have to try one of the more refined and sophisticated alcohol shops. Quote
Skjalg Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 I usually cant go on a night out drinking without finishing off with at least 1 irish whiskey, which hopefully includes some jameson, coffee, a buttload of brown sugar and some home made cream ontop. Quote

Thrik Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 Sounds quite nice, Skjalg. I will add that almost every time I go out in Nottingham I stop by a place I'm sure D3ads is familiar with, the Pit and Pendulum, for a cocktail. I usually have 'De Kuyper Crème de Menthe Green and Crème de Cacao White, with cream and milk poured over ice', or 'Russian Standard Vodka and Malibu, with cool cranberry juice and finished with a squeeze of lime'. Fuckin' lovely. :derp: Quote
Skjalg Posted March 26, 2012 Report Posted March 26, 2012 That sounds kind of like a White Russian to me. Which is basically vodka and coffee liqueur, in ice with milk/cream. Which is so awesome Quote

D3ads Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 Haha when I go out to Nottingham I always end up in The Pit, I'm surprised I haven't bumped into you yet Quote
El Moroes Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 > Maredsous Brune : a strong and good abbey beer. > Duvel : this one could be one of my favorite beer (and my brother-in-law is working for this brand so I'm a happy man ^^). FYI : bubbles appear at the bottom ONLY IF the glass is clean. If you don't see bubbles, ask for another glass! > Pécheresse : a fruity beer with a nice label . > Kriek Bellevue : another fruity beer (yes I like them). Quote
