personal top 3:

Ciechan Miodowe: honey beer. shit is amazing, it's not filtered or pasteurized which makes it retain flavor, and the taste is sublime. it's like drinking real mead basically, with an appropriate level of sweet vs bitterness. it's apparently also extremely rare outside of a specific region of poland, so if you get the chance, try it out.

Newcastle Brown Ale: pretty well known, tastes like liquid bread. beer of choice for mostly anything.

Tuborg Gold: when all else fails, this is a decent, if fairly high % beer. usually comes cheap as well.

there are also some pretty decent belgians beers out there, i really like red chimay and st. feuillien

Any nice ale or lager works for me. Not much of a liquor guy (don't drink much beer either). My favourite gay drink is the mojito...

Didn't really like Newcastle, I tried it in some bar a while ago but didn't like the taste (the liquid bread thing ). Then again... here in Sweden they can't serve beer for shit so might give it another try (perhaps bottle was warm, can't really remember).

Anyhow:

- Duvel / 8,5% (I usually drink without sediment)

- Ename, forgot which one I liked though

- Westmalle (Tripel) / 9,5 % (I drink with sediment)

- Orval / 6,2%

- Kwak / 8,4%

I'm always a Cider drinker at the pub. Could I get any more British?

I'll normally drink whatever cider they have on draught that isn't Strongbow, but most of the time I just end up drinking Strongbow anyway. Classy guy!

I once drank a banana-flavored beer and it was tasty as hell, and quite unusually strong too if I remember correctly.
