American and British extradition laws

I hate this sort of stuff. What annoys me even more is the UK government is more than happy to sign away its citizens to the American legal system. All of his server hardware was in the UK where he resides, and stored nothing locally, It's like every other website that gets taken down - a database of links. I applaud the day the idiots can tell the difference, but that will never come. And this shouldn't have anything to do with America. Bend over more, Cameron.

It's lame as shit, basically.

To me, extradition is reasonable when used for crimes, primarily serious offenses, that have been commited in another country (for example, if this guy had shot 7 cops while he was vacationing in Texas, then this would be another story). Why can't the guy be tried in the UK? It's just silly.

Ah well, I guess the UK has to honor the "special relationship" with the US...

Honestly makes me laugh how much American goverment preaches about protecting the world from terrorists or whatever and yet does things like this... I'm sorry.. I've got nothing against American people at all but the sooner we stop pandering to every fucking thing the US (and Israel) wants to do, the better.
