Hi Mapcore,

I don't know if its the right place, but here is my demand :

I'm a french student in 3D game arts at Gamagora in Lyon (France). To complete my education, i need to find an internship for 3 month as 3D artist (i can do 3D and 2D art, including : concept art, modeling, texturing, highpoly, retopo, etc).

I've tried to find this intership close to my home, but seems like i need to find some other solution :P

So here i am : searching for a teleworking internship, because i can't move right now (some money issue forces me to stay in Lyon).

You can see my portfolio for more detail aabout my work and education.

I'm really a self motivated and hard working person wishing to work in video game industry, so if you know any company searching for cool trainee or if you are one of this company, let me know. I would love to work with you :D

Please take a look at my website : http://www.simon-aublet.com/

Thanks

      Hello everybody!
I'm creating a map (based on the Maginot Line) for the Wingman's Contest - provided by Source Engine's Discord.

I started the map 3 weeks ago and I'm on the detailing phase, slowly progreeding area by area, worried with the time left. I decided to follow this strategy: detail 75% of every area and after that (and gaining some time) I'd put some final touches + polishment + optimization.

I wonder, should I keep doing it in a hurry or is it better to make it with no rush and patience (losing the deadline)? There's still a lot to do and I'd like to hear your opinions...
