deceiver Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) fap fap! Kinda weird how they didn't tick cast shadows on all objects, grass sprites cast lighting AO but not shadow map shadows for example. (And I spotted a few more in this new batch of screenshots, it really anoyes me. But oh well, can't wait to play through it again. lol Probably a concession to have it run at 60fps . blackdog Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 You see this stuff and you so hardly want to play it. My problem now is that I always planned to get the PS3 at the end of cycle and play the exclusivities, like all the naughty dog games and a couple of others. Now I don't plan at all to get a PS4… and I have barely time to play stuff I have in the pipeline Quote
Pericolos0 Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 So I got to play Last of Us for the first time a little while ago. Am I the only one who didn't like it? As a game it was boring, basically just smash square button or press or hold triangle. Yeah it couldn't hold my attention very long either. I thought the gameplay was pretty damn boring and frustrating, though i did like the moments where you were just walking around exploring and listening to the characters interact. Quote
st0lve Posted July 27, 2014 Report Posted July 27, 2014 Exactly, it was more of an interactive story rather than a game IMO. Quote
-HP- Posted July 28, 2014 Report Posted July 28, 2014 Exactly, it was more of an interactive story rather than a game IMO. Da fuck dude? lol Last of Us felt more of a game than the last 4 Call of Duty games did. We keep this up, we're gonna be discussing if games are art all over again. Izuno, Chimeray and Mazy 3 Quote

-HP- Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 God damn, the game is looking absolutely fucking gorgeous on PS4. Fuck... not a single jaggie, smooth picture and smooth 60fps. I let my wife play the game this time around, while I watch. Surprisingly fun to do that, NDi games are always fun to watch, you're always giggling every couple of minutes even tho the game has a pretty dark tone to it. She played until the section with the two intersecting big buildings after go out of the wall. She kept saying the game made her feel funny and weird (sense of urgency). lol Quote
