Apparently it's a rumor... but damn, I was so looking forward to this game, and this can be bad news if it's true.

Any project that needs years to be made, and we don't even get a release date, can only mean a really problematic development, I guess this is the proof of it.

But he's finishing the game either way, even as a freelancer. Just means you won't get the regular team making these games anymore. He'll most likely start his own spin off and still get Sony to publish or something along these lines.
