Furyo 360 Report post Posted December 1, 2011 It's been forever since I released anything, but I just put online a little test I made in Portal 2 over the summer. It was originally a design test for Valve, which eventually got me the interview at Irrational Games... http://www.froughol.com/slingplates.html Let me know what you think of it

e-freak 211 Report post Posted December 1, 2011 time to play it again! the playtesting was a lot of fun You should write a proper Postmortem for the level, it went through so many design itterations and could be a great lesson for anyone! :science:
┌HP┘ 9,745 Report post Posted December 1, 2011 I endorse the previous post! Something along the lines of Corwins articles!
Furyo 360 Report post Posted December 1, 2011 Thanks guys Very little has changed since you guys tested it, I only changed a couple of things that could create bugs and fixed the lighting here and there. Nothing new for you guys I'm afraid
slowdevelopment 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2011 Cool levels! Liked the attention-grabbers with the panels!
Corwin 629 Report post Posted December 8, 2011 Just played through, it's really cool, felt very close to the original test chambers (the "it requires some thinking, but somehow I never get stuck" difficulty). Nice!
Puddy 3,089 Report post Posted December 8, 2011 Some non-map feedback; the download button on the site could be slightly more attention-grabbing Going to check it out! EDIT: It's more that it's dark blue text on a dark grey background. And that it's smaller then the release date text.
Furyo 360 Report post Posted December 9, 2011 True, I should make it a button instead of pure text

Algor 45 Report post Posted December 13, 2011 Neat stuff, just about the right amount of puzzling. I didn't feel lost at all but just had to figure out what I had to work with. Only issue I had was in the first room. I fell in the water and when the game reloaded I was in a continuous loop of falling into the water.
Furyo 360 Report post Posted December 13, 2011 Crap, can you let me know where that is so I can fix it?
