Thrik Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Haha I did like Brucie, he was a guilty pleasure. Kind of shocking how old GTA4 looks now though after seeing that new trailer. Quote

Thrik Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Looks like this is the guy we're going to be playing as: Quite like the idea of playing an older Mafia-type guy rather than the young brutish grunt we normally get to be. Quote
skdr Posted November 2, 2011 Author Report Posted November 2, 2011 Damn! That looks hot. Can't wait! Quote
Izuno Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 That's also the best rendition of Los Angeles (or a "Los Angeles inspired city") I've seen in a video game. It's not just the visuals...the whole vibe and tone is right. That's what really puts Rockstar on another level, they know it's all about feel and they get the feel right. Quote
Jake Gilla Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Honestly, I was not excited to be heading back to Cali (as the rumors suggested) until I saw it. It looks awesome. Quote
Mazy Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Probably seen it about 20 times now, I need somebody to take this trailer away from me, can't handle it D: Quote

Even that mountain they're hiking looks exactly like a hike in the san jacinto mountains O__O. & Muscle beach lol!! I can't wait Quote
Jenn0_Bing Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 Los Angeles makes a lot of sense for the setting, I expect they're are going to play on the state of the world economy a lot, and there's plenty of upper-class lower-class divide about in it. I expect the guy you're playing gets forced back into a life of crime after he loses his house to foreclosure/ business goes down the pan, or something of that sort. Just in that trailer there's a shot of a foreclosed house going up for sale, as well as a slum of non-hobo-like people living out of tents with household possessions surrounding them. I must admit, I keep coming back to that trailer, and it's brining me round. Beginning to get a real craving for more of the GTA action . Quote
PogoP Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 They should make a game where the main character gets cancer and resorts to cooking crystal meth to fund his treatment. Quote
