Skjalg Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Yeah that was probably a good choice. I've also removed my wisdom teeth with just local anesthesia and I thought it was kick ass hearing the bones grinding and the guy working so hard in my mouth without feeling a thing haha Anyways, its always sad that so many people have to die before someone important gets the memo. Rick_D Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Laughing gas used to be used at birthings and at the dental clinics up until a few years ago when they got banned. (at least here in norway). I'm surprised that americans still use it with how america usually is. way to stay on topic. Quote
ElectroSheep Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 Never met him here or on IRC but RIP Quote

If you read the all the posts instead of just the last one you'd realize that a small rant about laughing gas actually is on topic. Also, I'm curious, since you think its so important to stay 100% on topic; How is your post on topic? Quote
kleinluka Posted October 5, 2011 Report Posted October 5, 2011 If a post is off-topic please just ignore it and move on, I don't want this thread turning into an argument. So, question. The obituary says he died at home. This doesn't sound very logical if he died from an overdose of laughing gas and painkillers. Do we know any more details? Quote

I'm not sure, that's what we heard from his family. Maybe it happened after he went to sleep. It doesn't matter really though. Quote
PhilipK Posted October 6, 2011 Report Posted October 6, 2011 woh, remember him a bit from the IRC times. Sad news, RIP Quote

Wunderboy Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 Man ages since I've been here. Just too busy... As mentioned previously, Engineer was part of the original Ham and Jam team (amongst over mods) and we wrote a little piece about him on our blog: http://www.hamandjam.org/2011/09/in-mem ... er-keesee/ It's amazing when you do a bit of Googling just how many games he contributed to. I've found sound and weapon packs he's made for stuff as far back as Duke Nukem. It's been a month since it happened and I'm still genuinely bummed out about it. Quote
kleinluka Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 Yeah me too, .... every now and then I'll sign onto AIM and I used to see him on there all the time. Now it just says "engineer is offline" Quote

Remember the good times. Quote
