Cool HP, but damn this is sooo much more compliacted than exporting shit in to UDK (or it just looks like it, becouse i never tried it)

i have 2 questions tho:

1. what is that dummy ?(box in the middle of the bench)

2. why the hell you are making proxy's ? first i was thinking that this are for coolision, but after you've started making collision, i lost it there :P

i'm maya user, i assume these plugins are also available for Maya ?

ehh need to try this out in maya

You don't need a dummy, if you only want to export your asset ingame for the sake of screenshots or videos for portfolio, then just select the mesh and export, done.

But if you want to have collisions and LOD's along with your render mesh, then all these should be attached to a dummy, (for the sake of organization, since only the dummy gets exported) I thought I was clear about it! :whaaa: Lemme know if you have any more questions.

Proxys are collisions. They work for bullet collision detection, and player / NPC's collisions.

Hey Hélder,

I really enjoyed listening to your tutorial. You explained everything clearly and comprehendable. I would love to see more tutorials of you regarding CryEngine3 or even other topics. Keep it rolling! :)
