Online CG training at the Rydan Workshop start this week...

Through collaboration with leading industry professionals, the Rydan Workshop provides quality online training for careers in digital arts for the entertainment industry. What sets us apart is our unmatched level of real-time interactivity between our students and instructors. Our next semester of courses starts at the end of this week. Our courses include:

Game Character Pipeline: This course will quickly cover process and best practices for creating a character for realtime game development. Class format will involve live demos, feedback will be given via paintovers, modeling over students work etc.

Intro to Zbrush: This course is designed to provide students a basic familiarity of the Zbrush environment and will provide practical real world case studies of how Zbrush is used in a production environment. .

Other courses include Intro to Digital Concept Art, Environment Art, and Photoshop Intro for the Entertainment Industry. We are also planning on offering courses in Environments with UDK.

ABOUT THE ONLINE EDUCATION

• Live streaming video: Instructors demos and lectures are shown in real-time.

• Live chatroom: Students can type their questions into the classroom chat, or use their microphone to vocally communicate directly with the instructor.

• Recordings: All classes can be replayed at your convenience.

• Whiteboard: This is used for document presentations and making critiques on student models.

• Application sharing: This allows instructors to go onto your machine, helping with technical issues or for demoing directly on your machine.
