It is obvious that you can boost over this. The playtests have shown this. The advantage of doing it alone is to not need another player. It also should not be overpowered.

It is two sided sword... The cool advantage of boost spots is that you can gain access聽to area you wouldn't normally have but this requires another player hence, drawing them back from other parts of the map. This means there is also an advantage for enemy team. If you see someone boosting you are 100% sure the other player is also there. This gives a crucial info in some situations for other players. Here you can't be really sure if there are 2 players boosting or just one so you get that out of the equation.

That is true, I was already aware of that. But this should not a be problem in this case.

Some update regarding the workshop_publish bug. Apparently this bug has been going on since the start of July. The good news is that Valve finally acknowledged that there's a problem with updating workshop entries... two weeks after the bug started appearing. And of course that means that Valve has absolutely no idea when this bug will be fixed 馃槙

UPDATE: So I tried testing this bug out myself. The issue is that any files published after the start of July will not appear under your list of published files, making any attempt to update your map impossible. You'll also get an "An error occurred while retrieving file information" message every time you bring up the workshop_publish ui. You can still update the steamcommunity.com page, though.
