Vaya Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 I'm hoping this doesn't make reddit brigade harder on every minor issue as they think the hold 'sway' now. blackdog, Logic and Lizard 3 Quote

jackophant Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 Community is becoming as whiny as it was back in the 1.6 days, full of armchair developersNot that Valve have to give us a running commentary, but if they had released the update WITH those roll back notes, or even warned us all "hey guys, we're planning on experimenting with some weapon values in the hope of doing..." and the game goes into a public beta state where match rankings don't count or provide beta keys for those who want to try the different version which we can opt in and out of freely to play with other beta clients. But there are a lot of people who like to suggest absolute drivel without any understanding of how that impacts the game as a whole, let alone the development required behind it. (Yes, I realise the irony of following my previous statement with this ) Quote

AtsEst Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 This might have circulated through here and I do know actual maps of these exist, but it was a interesting for a casual like me so I thought I'd share it. Quote
laminutederire Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 I understand they read the steam group topics and Reddit they could come here too, since it's about mapping mostly, therefore an understanding of the game spirit is required, and good ideas might come up Quote
Squad Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 they could come here too, since it's about mapping mostly, therefore an understanding of the game spirit is required, and good ideas might come upThey can not follow every gaming/csgo/mapping community out there El_Exodus 1 Quote

ElectroSheep Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Btw, it's sad that since this time, he is not posting anymore over here. Looks like there is some policy about being active in a community close to their games. Quote
Vaya Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 The fact that most op maps come from projects posted here would probably open him/valve up for bias allegations. jackophant and El_Exodus 2 Quote
