But I did kind of go AWOL twice and almost failed my probation. Yeah.

spent the first week sitting around reading out of date docs tbh. After that I finally got to start working on a level, I got used to the tools pretty quick and started pushing for better features and writing tutorials/sorting our wiki out.

Tell your lead exactly what you wrote here. A good lead should point out all the things you are doing which are awesome, and all the things that you could improve upon.

If the lead cant really find anything that you are doing right, then i suggest you listen very attentively

I'm listening to all what others got to say to me, i'm trying to get as much as i can from critique. I had pretty good day today, i'm finishing HP model, and lead is looking pretty happy with that.

And yes, i'm trying to have a good contact with lead and other artists. After i finish that piece, i will show you guys, and maybe you can say word or two

My first day was fucking scary. I was browsing Google Image search for some reference photos and the project manager, producer, art lead etc. were all standing behind my desk talking to some other guy. I clicked on an image and you know how Google Image Search always loads the entire site that image is on too, in addition to just the picture....well before I knew it I had about 15-20 large popups of chicks sucking cock or getting facials all over my screen. When I tried to close one it would open 3 more. I panicked and tried to close them all but they would just bring up new ones so I did the only thing I could do and hit the power switch on my computer. Nobody saw. But I nearly shat myself.
