Minos Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 Hi Everyone, I've finally finished that tutorial I've been promising since forever: Making modular environments in UDK. In this tutorial I go over a lot of techniques that I learned when creating Zest Foundation. Although I used UDK for this tutorial the concepts can easily be adapted to other engines. Let me know if you have any doubts or suggestions for topics that i didn't cover! LINK: http://www.thiagoklafke.com/modularenvironments.html Some pics: Quote

Jenn0_Bing Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 Love how concise and to the point it is, and how you cover some general stuff like project organisation. Good stuff. Quote
-HP- Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 Had a quick look at it, and I am amazed how accurate it is. I learnt a few things too! I might use the knowledge and do a few things myself. Quote
Mr. Happy Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Had a quick look through it and bookmarked it for the morning, thanks for going so in depth! Quote
Froyok Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Thanks mino ! I'm wondering just one thing, it's the bedn modifier, there is something similar but for maya ? Your tutorial is great because it's also working at 90% for maya ! Quote
