-HP- Posted October 8, 2012 Report Posted October 8, 2012 The game is out today! I'm playing through Batman Arkham City atm so I'll wait a couple week before getting this, but for those who are not convinced yet, here's the review: http://www.gametrailers.com/reviews/m68kgw/dishonored-review I'll avoid watching that tho, GT is usually pretty safe with spoilers but still. Mazy Posted October 8, 2012 Report Posted October 8, 2012 Really a shame that this is coming out the same day as XCOM. I'm getting both, but if only it'd been released a week earlier I'd have enough time to get through it before XCOM~~ Looks great tho, can't wait to play this too~ Quote
Jenn0_Bing Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 So glad reviews for this are positive, Friday can't come soon enough for me. Quote

Puddy Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Can you use that purchase with steam? Yes, it's basically a key purchase. I just activated it in steam straight away. Buddy and Sentura 2 Quote
Buddy Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Thanks! Purchased, GMG seems like a nice way to avoid the currency robbery steam has been doing for awhile. Thrik 1 Quote
Sprony Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Just to add to that, Dlcompare.com actually finds you the cheapest price for your Steam or Origin Key. Because prices vary quite a bit. These are the comparisons for Dishonered right now (cheapest being 34,43 euro): http://www.dlcompare.com/games/cd-key-download-dishonored-315 Quote
PaulH Posted October 11, 2012 Report Posted October 11, 2012 Just been playing this tonight, first impressions were that all the textures were surprisingly low res (am playing it on 360 though, and haven't installed it to my HD yet so maybe that'll help). As for the game itself it seems pretty cool, I'm not too far into it but it seems like HL2 meets Thief meets Bioshock which is a good combo. I did find it really difficult to be stealthy on the first mission though, I tried but people kept spotting me or seeing me strangling their friends so I pretty much had to kill everyone on the level which was a shame. I expect you get equipment a bit further into the game that'll make things easier Quote
