Haven't played the others but seeing as GTAIV was boring as sin (aside from 4 leaf clover, or whatever that mission was called) I think saints row is the game for me.

I'm torn about this one. It looks like a bunch of fratboys wrote the design for this game. I could totally see myself enjoying to play it with a couple of mates one or two evenings, trying the ridiculous vehicles and weapons and having a laugh (and a few beers). But I'm afraid these jokes are going to run dry really fast and if I ever catch myself playing entire nights of "slap the NPCs with the pink giant dildo" by myself, I will seriously begin to question my lifestyle. Maybe I'm just not enough informed about the game though and the missions are really fun, too.. *shrug*

i think it's the combination of retarded hurrdurr humour and super serious gang wars that gets me, like, pick one, otherwise it just feels very uncohesive. but whatever, good luck to them.
