A 90% finished remake of CS_747, was told the subject matter was probably too violent/controversial so I don't see myself returning to it

Heh, I've been having the same debate over a similar airport/hijack scenario for CSGO...significantly smaller than 747 though. I paused quite early along on it for the same reasoning but picked it back up rather recently.

It's nowhere near as far along as your map though. nthing that you should finish it, controversy be damned; it looks fantastic.

The mountainbase map for ND looked really pretty too, Jeroen, I was really looking forward to it from the screenshots. I may have to check out the vmf :)

Map I made today to help me learn about smoothing groups, lightmap and HDR settings. Incidentally I realized I didn't know how to make spiral stares so I sort of figured that out along the way.

Then, I stopped level design until a few weeks ago !

When did you start these. I have some few thousand hours of COD2 under my belt (probably my most played game of all time...) and would love to run around them a bit when you get a working version out.

I started them in 2006. I might have the last built versions in a pk3 file somewhere, I can upload them if you want.

Please do. I need an excuse to reinstall COD2 =D

I completly forgot the context of this thread and misunderstood "Then, I stopped level design until a few weeks ago !" to mean you started working on them again lol.
