rascal Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) Hey everyone, i thought it's a good opportunity to say hi to the mapcore community now that i updated my portfolio which i would like to share with you. You find selections on basically everything i did throughout my career as a 3D and Texture Artist but it's mainly focused on my most recent work at Crytek.http://www.timbergholz.com Any feedback/critics is of course welcome! Best Regards, Tim ___________________________ Hey everyone, check out my newest update @ www.timbergholz.com. Edited September 21, 2013 by rascal Thrik and Corwin 2 Quote
Furyo Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Hey Tim, good to see you around these parts I never knew you were part of R&L Good job on the portfolio, it really ticks all the boxes on everything it should do. Keep on kicking butt at Crytek man Quote
PogoP Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Incredible stuff. How long you been doing environment stuff for? Quote
rascal Posted April 11, 2011 Author Report Posted April 11, 2011 @furyo: RnL was an awesome experience for me back then! So many talented and ambitious people to learn from. @ pogoP: my first video game related work goes back to 2005, it was a small texture customization for one of the Counterstrike Source terrorists and due to the positive feedback i joined a few mod teams where i put all my effort in! Three years later, including 18 months of college time where i learned 3D modeling ontop of my texturing knowledge, i got hired by Crytek @hP: thanks bro! Quote
sarge mat Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 Loved the subway station in Crysis 2 dude spent loads of time just looking around, taking screenshots with steam. Quote
rascal Posted April 11, 2011 Author Report Posted April 11, 2011 That's great to hear mat! An environmental scene like that is usually the sum of many people's work: concept artist, leveldesigner, beautyfication artist, lighting artist and a 3D Artist such as myself. Quote
e-freak Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 The crycore grows again? Nice to see you here! Also, as already told: Great work in and on the portfolio Quote
