Minos Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Very nice, do you know the applying period for these positions? Quote
Synthesizer Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 I had totally forgotten we were hiring... Btw, for some reason prop artists are called Technical Artists at Dice, figured I'd add this here, even though it's just temporary positions we're looking for. Technical Artist EA Digital Illusions is looking for excellent Technical Artists to join our teams in Stockholm. You will be working as a Technical Artist in one of our next-gen project teams with technically advanced 3d graphics. Primary responsibilities will be to compose and model the graphic part of the levels for current and future games at DICE. As an Artist at DICE you will work closely with other team members and with the Art Director of the team so if you have that experience it’s an advantage. DICE will give you the possibility to grow as an artist and eventually take more advanced working tasks and bigger responsibilities. Quote
Nysuatro Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Yeah, I saw the application for Technical Artist. I was a bit surprised to see what the job description was. Too bad, working at EA Dice sounded really awesome Quote
ShadoW_ Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Are you looking for people to work remotely too? Quote
Evert Posted April 7, 2011 Author Report Posted April 7, 2011 ShadoW I doubt we have people working remotely at all, not very common at all I guess with larger studios. But shoot a mail to the adress on the jobs page, but I doubt it Minos I have no idea what the period for this is, but as usual with this industry you are probably best of applying even for positions not listed, good people are always good people Quote
ShadoW_ Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Hehe, I just thought so. Actually I have a job already, but it's always worth to ask, I'm doing some remote work from time to time. Quote
e-freak Posted April 7, 2011 Report Posted April 7, 2011 Only seeing the Ea profile thing and don't wanna sign up there. Isn't there some kind of jobs@ mail address? Quote
Puddy Posted April 8, 2011 Report Posted April 8, 2011 If there is, they are very sneaky about it... If you use the EA Jobs thing, be sure to upload your CV and application bundled as one file and make sure you upload the right file. You only get to upload one file and there a 24h delay before you can replace it -_- I have applied but not for a designer position. QA fo sho... Quote
