insta Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 -Do you have any indian in you? -No. -Do you want some? lmao Quote
Orpheus Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 hmm...where's the native american dude? *whispers* That's Village People bud. Quote
Seldoon182 Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 Looks moar like a Splinter Cell sequel than prey! Quote
-HP- Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 "TOMMY HAWK, You are our secret navy seal marine black operative assigned to assassinate the space alien president of space-cuba!" wtf man? Quote
Thrik Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 Yeah that's kind of weird, especially with quite a big part of the first game being about the native American guy and his ability to channel ancient spirits or some shit. It was an interesting twist on an otherwise fairly typical id Tech 4 shooter. Quote
insta Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 Turok was still a indian, he had a bow and everything! Quote
dux Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 It's now about a white guy from the street trying to get back in touch with his ghetto side. Anyway, looks about as original as a bowl of cornflakes. Quote
-HP- Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 Call of Prey: Black Hawks My thoughts exactly. This industry is getting ridiculous. Quote
Furyo Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 If there ever was a game that didn't need a sequel, it is Prey. Quote
deceiver Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 The first game did leave us on a cliffhanger though =P. Quote
KungFuSquirrel Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 If there ever was a game that didn't need a sequel, it is Prey Portal. If there ever was a game that didn't need a sequel, it is Prey BioShock. "interesting" cover aside, one of the tidbits I've heard mentioned about this still leaves me with high hopes if they can pull it off. Quote
Furyo Posted March 15, 2011 Report Posted March 15, 2011 Yeah I remember reviewers saying that about Bioshock, but in the end the world was so enticing you really could do with a second serving. And they did right by the first game, or so I hear, and made a good one too. Prey? They had portals. And those were placed in poorly chosen locations that made your head spin faster than Charlie Sheen snorts lines. The world, characters, art had nothing memorable about them. They could have chosen to base their work on the gameplay portals could create and instead never went beyond the gimmick. Quote
