deceiver Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I can't get Decimation Master to show up in my Zbrush plugins for some reason. I put everything that it needs in the ZPlugs folder as instructed, but nada, won't show up =/. In any case, any chance someone could decimate my model for me (PM me with e-mail pls, can't post it up as it's under NDA) or suggest me a good free alternative to Decimation Master? Quote

I'll try that! I downloaded meshlab too just in case! And it's not for work, just for my one last contract before I leave for Toronto heh. Quote

Bunglo Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Mehslab does just as well as polycruncher once your trial runs out. Though there were times when my obj from Mudbox would freeze up during the decimation process. I use Max's ProOptimizer modifier most of the time now. Quote

I my case Meshlab made some strange problems on the UVs. Roadkill crash, and Maya don't like it. Quote
