I also keep it pixelated so it's fast to make, the "high poly" is actually a very crude lowpoly blockout, but since the sprite is so small it works well enough! It takes me about 2-3 hours from concept -> modelling -> final ingame sprite with normal map this way, fast enough to make a lot of guns for my game Quote

Guns with the same color will share the same ammo, so you have to decide what gun to waste your ammo on . Blue are raycast-based weapons, like shotguns, pistols, machinegun, railgun etc Red is explosive based, grenade launcher, rocket launcher, mine launcher etc green is energy based like the plasma gun, lighting gun etc, these could be some weird weapons . There will also be special novelty weapons in the future that might do other things than shoot and have their own ammo type, but more about that in the future . Quote
