Skyfall, other than the photography the movie was very dull imo... What a shame :/ The guy that played Silva did a superb job though, very impressive acting but somehow the movie in itself lacked substance.

haha, that's a good point. the characters are really hatable. Spacey's character comes around, but honestly I'm really liking the show. It's like west wing but way sexier and way more cynical

edit: I'm 5 episodes in, this show is the real deal. it's great

Has anyone else been watching Channel 4's "Utopia"? I'm not sure what to make of it, it's complex and very very violent (not sure how they got away with

the school shooting

. It's also very very pretty, reminds me of 'Hobo With A Shotgun filter'...

Act Of Valor

I'm impressed that soldiers can act, I'd say they are even better than the low soap-opera actors we have in Italy :D

Also I did expected a much worse movie overall, if they wanted, they could have pulled out a better narration.

I would like to think the movie is worth keeping stashed for reference, but i don't think it is.

Savages

For some reason I expected it to be much more action and a very silly movie from the trailer

instead I'd compliment Mr. Stone for pulling it off, imo. I see in this thing quite some Tarantino. Benicio Del Toro is always a pleasure to see when on screen.

Just watched ..

.. Drive! Pretty nice movie, getting more serious and gorier as it goes on, and at the same time being very artsy. I like this one, will rewatch.
