-HP- Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Cypher, amazing sci-fi thriller! Recommended! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0284978/ Quote
PaulH Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 ":12wgg77b]http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435625/ If you like horror movies, give this one a go!! Did you watch the UK or US version? The UK one had a better ending which they changed in the US as they felt it was too depressing for American audiences. The UK ending had the bit where Sarah got into a car at the end, then she looked in the rear view and saw her dead friend Juno in the car behind her. Suddenly she woke up and she was still in the cave and had never escaped after all. Quality film though. Quote

But yeah, I read that somewhere, lol American pussies... too depressing, rotfl. Quote
FrieChamp Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 I would dare to say that it went downhill after the first episode this And it went soooo much uphill in the first episode of season 2! (still talking about The Walking Dead) Quote
e-freak Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 didn't like the new episode of walking dead :/ Quote

(still talking about The Walking Dead) The characters are shit. Probably not gonna follow this season. I'm enjoying Dexter though. Quote
Sentura Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 i can't get into any series lately, seems that everything new is just watered down. even things like breaking bad doesn't have appeal, and there are like 0 good sitcoms out there besides HIMYM and big bang. does anyone have anything to recommend? Quote
Grinwhrl Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Walking Dead was a pretty good. I can't really complain since its the only zombie show in existence. They sorta screwed up the shows consistency though. Seems like they dropped the whole zombies can smell humans bit. Not sure why they made it up in the first season to just ditch it in the second. Either-way, I wasn't much of a fan of the idea to begin with. Quote

Well, did you watch Breaking Bad and not like it or does it's theme and setting not appeal at a glance? If it's the latter I'd say give it a chance and watch the first two episodes or so. As mentioned in my previous post, I think Dexter is a solid show and I recommend watching it from the first episode. Quote
Sentura Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 i watched the first episode and while i could see it was pretty cool, it was just too long and not really my taste... ill try dexter Quote
FrieChamp Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Dexter is fantastic. Better than TWD, no doubt, but I can enjoy a post-apocalyptic, horror-survival, zombie-smashing series to spice up my mix of (more or less) realistic shows that I watch. I must admit this inconsistency leaves a bad taste in my mouth though (totally forgot about this): Seems like they dropped the whole zombies can smell humans bit. Not sure why they made it up in the first season to just ditch it in the second. Quote
Mazy Posted October 18, 2011 Report Posted October 18, 2011 Haven't seen the latest Dexter episode but it started getting better with the second episode, still not sure whether I'm liking the religious vibe that seems to be the theme of this season. Thought the first episode of The Walking Dead S2 was quite good, but then again I've been burned a bit before with that series. I agree that the thing with the zombies not being able to smell them was kind of a weird change, felt like they changed their stance just to have that scene (donno if its like that in the comic?). Oh also started watching Homeland, quite good so far~ Quote
PaulH Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 The latest Dexter was good, i also wasn't sure about the religious theme to this series, but what happened at the end of the episode was pretty cool Quote
Skjalg Posted October 19, 2011 Report Posted October 19, 2011 Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, HIMYM, South Park, The Walking Dead, House and Big Bang Theory are the shows I currently watch. I have also watched a couple of episodes of Terra Nova but its already starting to get dull so I don't think it'll pick itself up. Quote
