PaulH Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Anyone else watching Ray Donovan? Great show Buddy 1 Quote
Puddy Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 I am, it's good but I don't think it's great imho. I think the whole "I am a man's man, I can't be vulnerable, I always have to be a badass 24/7 and this causes A LOT of my problems" is getting a bit tiresome. Feels like the char development is standing still. Dunno. Quote
PaulH Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Have you watched season 2? Season 1 was good but Season 2 is on another level Quote
Deathy Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 I watched a German film called 'whoami' yesterday. Generally I am very skeptical about any German film or TV production but this one I actually liked very much. Some of their methods of showing 'hacking/hacks' are just like in US movies where they only show some gibberish code, but they even used the correct expressions for some of the things and tools and don't try to explain heavy hacking shit but rather show it in a metaphoric way. So uh, if you heard of that movie and still doubting if you should watch or not, do it (if you actually understand German that is). Everyone else, just move along, there is nothing to see here. blackdog Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) Ray Donovan is another one in my long list... Got back to The Walking Dead and watched Episode 6 of the Season 4. I haven't been watching that show since May :-/ Edited October 7, 2014 by blackdog Quote
Sprony Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 Watched The Purge: Anarchy and I loved it. Quote
blackdog Posted October 8, 2014 Report Posted October 8, 2014 First Purge was a bit /meh, but looking forward to the second anyway. Day before yday watched more The Walking Dead: ep 7 & 8 back to back, one cannot possibly resist watching them separately Quote
Puddy Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Have you watched season 2? Season 1 was good but Season 2 is on another level Yeah, it would be fine if his character was sort of samey for one season, but I find it a bit dull that he's lacking some range in his behaviour. Puddy, don't worry you find out why he is like that. Keep watching, I think its worth watching. I've seen everything. Quote
Mistral Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 watched "a million way to die in the west" last night, it's an enjoyable no brainer movie if u feel like watching one. also there's a special cameo that made me giggle like a little boy. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2557490/ Quote
knj Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 (edited) New South Park season is doing really good ! Edited October 9, 2014 by knj blackdog 1 Quote
blackdog Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 First episode of Gotham.Predictably they couldn't resist and not even half way in they have already shown all of Batmans super-villains' origins -_- other than that show is ok, not really unmissable though. Also, for little I know of the comics (read some wikis because of the games) some backstories seem to be completely changed. And what about Barbara being a rich girl?? doesn't fit at all(?) Quote
