Seldoon182 Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 Tried watching that, but the dubbing is so fucking awful that I can't. Fuck dubbing in general This is exactly what I thought. Sry bud Quote
AlexM Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 (edited) Hummingbird (aka Redemption). Didn't like it, i was expecting much more stunts from Statham and it's nothing like a "powerhouse thriller" as the poster says. Not even a thriller to me. Drive It was pretty good. A solid 3 out of 5. Only?! A really HIGH 3 out of 5 Edited February 13, 2014 by AlexM FrieChamp 1 Quote
Chimeray Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 (edited) Best in Show(2000). Most unfunny movie ever. I thought Airplane was pretty bad cos I don't really like that silly Naked Gun sort of humor but at least it was enjoyable. This movie just didn't have any funny stuff in whatever shape or form, just really annoying people. There was some "lolwut" but definitely no laughs It wasn't witty, wasn't clever. I usually can pick a best-of list of any genre and sit through all the movies and enjoy them but for comedy it just ain't working :/ Gonna try a couple of others but when people recommend this as "the best shit ever" then I'm very skeptical... AlexM Posted February 17, 2014 Report Posted February 17, 2014 21 Jump Street Surprisingly good movie. Funny and entertaining throughout. My partner has a huge ladyboner for Channing Tatum now. She spent about 30 mins googling images of him after the movie. Quote
Minos Posted February 17, 2014 Report Posted February 17, 2014 Watched the new Planet of the Apes, was a bit skeptical about it but as far as sci-fi movies go these days this is a good one. I like how they expanded the universe rather than remaking a classic (like the Tim Burton fiasco). Looking forward to the new one now 7.5/10 blackdog 1 Quote
blackdog Posted February 17, 2014 Report Posted February 17, 2014 I was highly skeptical as well with Rising Of The Planet Of The Apes, then the trailer was convincing and movie was very good. I totally fell in love with the ape... amazing CG; i ended up siding for them (as I always do in this kind of movie).I'm looking forward for the new one as well.Never watched the Tim Burton's one, costumes were terribly ridiculous, and I really couldn't handle that kind of shit having read the book (although i did read when i was in my early teens). Erratic Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 The Counselor. I don't know but I got this feeling that this is some shit Kubrick would have done if he'd been alive these days. It's got a special weirdness and deliberateness just done by Ridley Scott instead. Of course everyone fucking hated it but that sort of makes this retarded idea even more plausible. Quote
AlexM Posted February 18, 2014 Report Posted February 18, 2014 Serenity Pretty awesome, looking forward to watching firefly. Love the kaylee girl. Brothers Solomon Decent comedy. Slightly above average. Quote
