Yeah, they only had it up for a few days for some reason which sucks because all I've been able to play is metro and that's not my idea of a classic BF map.

It's just the map they choose for beta guys. I'm guess this is more of a test for the battlelog then anything else.

Just accepted a bunch more people on the platoon...i'll try and make a nicer patch at some point , shame we can't upload are own.

Except most of us haven't gotten to play Caspian Border. The beta, playing in Metro, has also convinced me not to buy the game when it comes out.

Gonna join in and say even though metro isn't a real bf quality map, I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Finally BF takes the cake over Call of Duty infantry combat.

Let me try and elaborate a bit more as to why I'm not enjoying this very much.

The map sucks. This is clearly apparent.

The battle log is just dumb. Why is this even necessary? It's just a mess.

Origin is another pain in the ass program I have to install on my PC. Steam please.

The weapons are just bleh. Boring, basically. And too big I remember them looking smaller in earlier footage.

The damage system at the moment is just a who sees who first. Die far too fast. Don't even say realism to me on this, it isn't about that.

Sniping is laughably easy. I spawned then instantly went to 10 - 0 with that Russian sniper destroyer thingywahtever. Bf2 you needed real skill to be any good with a sniper.

The animations on everything, while very nice, are far too slow. Throwing a grenade has gotten me killed way too many times than it should as the animation is so slow. I guess he keeps them in his asshole and it takes him a while to get them out?! Same applies for drawing your weapon, etc.

The factions look far too similar for my liking I actually ran up past to a guy thinking he was on my side and he shot me in the face.

And now the most important thing of all that fucks me off about this game - the squads. WHAT. THE. FUCK. Four player max, and you can't join the ones you want it just randomly drops you into one. Me and 4 of my friends wanted to be in the same squad, tough luck for us, huh?!
