I tend to roll my eyes at "This is real gameplay footage" notes in trailers, since it tends not to accompany such mind blowing footage to justify the need... here it totally is valid

Note that it said "this actual In-Game footage", not "gameplay". Some/all/none of that could be cutscenes!

Just sayin'. Not hatin'. Looks purdy.

Nice! Wish we knew more about what the campaign is about though :v

does it matter? if it's going to be like call of duty (which it is), then it shouldn't really matter what the campaign is about.

i sometimes wish they would just ditch campaign for "combat scenarios" or something so they would have a reason to go even more batshit with these missions. instead of attempting to tie everything together (and failing miserably), they could have standalone episodes with a new scenario each time without having to worry about "story" holding them back. then we also wouldn't have to endure the utter shit, cringe-inducing plot moments like the deer hunter-ripoff/"reference" in black cops.

i've found most of the cod campaigns entertaining, i'm just saying there's more potential here. we could have north-korea, china, russia and sweden all be antagonists for the price of one game. maybe an alternate universe scenario involving hitler and the third reich. modern nazis would be very cool.

then again, maybe the story-nonsense is part of the charm. maybe we enjoy seeing these writers struggle with the crumbs they are given.

I have previously tried to find the download for origin, just so i could pre order bf3, but since i couldn't find it in like a couple of minutes i gave up thinking they probably haven't released origin yet or something. (this was about a month ago).

And I always figured it would be a welcoming change to steam, because you know, competition is awesome and all that. (lower prices for everybodyyy yeaah).

But then some dude on facebook posts on my wall (a dude i hardly speak to).

Its translated from norwegian via google translate.

Join me on Origin!

Origin, run by EA

Origin gives you a whole universe of EA games in a simple and convenient system. With Origin you can check out, download and buy games from EA - when you want and anywhere you want. Origin has the best offer from EA. The hottest games, exclusive content and more.

This is obviously posted by origin once he installed it. Now I dont want to install origin because this is a piece of shit marketing move and I hate EA for spamming my wall on fb with it. But I cant boycott origin, because I need to install it to play BF3.

The thing about Origin, I believe, is that you purchase through the webpage and the app is more of a download manager.

Correct me if I'm wrong though. I also had some difficulty finding the actual software...

It gives you the choice, sort of a "Welcome to Origin, why not invite your friends!" kind of message pops up. At least as far as I can remember, you don't have to click it of course.
