Battlefield 3

I loved BC2. I loved BF2. I'm hoping it's an awesome mixture of the too. My only issue is that some of my friends will be playing on Xbox, others on PC

I am eager to see some more vehicle based maps. Though the Metro map looks great, then it looks like its pretty infantry based (well, apart from that APC in the beginning). I figure what's been shown so far is the 24 player console versions of the maps, if the PC ones scale up to 64 players then that ought to make room for some more vehicles

Apparently there's a luck of the draw type Alpha key give out going on on the alpha page. I got pointed in it's direction and got a key straight away, while other friends haven't been so lucky.

Today, I got the chance to actually play the BF3 alpha for well over 2 hours. Took some time to adjust to it, but once I did, I really want some more! From what I played, it didn't feel that much different from Bad Company 2; but really improved upon player & vehicle handling/animations and double the amount of incredible Sounds/VO and FX. For, me I felt right at home.
