Skacky Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 Hey guys! Since the release of our FPS/RPG E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, using the Source Engine, is coming very soon I just wanted to drop by and introduce the game. E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy takes place in a distant dystopian cyberpunk future where several organizations and powers are waging war against each other, including a repressive government named the Federation, an ancient and mysterious power known as the Metastreumonic Force, an obscure organization of monk-warriors using the name Secreta, and finally some punks, looters and anarchists who are taking profit from the general chaos to, well, loot and kill people. In E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, you take control of a soldier of the armed branch of the Secreta, E.Y.E, who belongs to one of the two castes forming this branch. Your character wakes up in a cave and suffers from amnesia. You will soon learn that the two castes, the Culter Dei and the Jian Shang Di are rivals and are in a more or less official conflict, as if the general war wasn't enough. Under the orders of the separatist Culter Dei commander Rimanah and with the insightful advices and teachings of your friend and instructor, the Mentor, you will execute various objectives in very large and open maps. Objectives include eliminating special targets, retrieving intelligence, talking to some key characters, sabotaging or destroying equipment, etc. Once you have completed a world, you will be able to revisit it to do secondary missions with randomized objectives. Since E.Y.E is also a RPG, you will be able to earn experience levels and money, and set your skill points (manually or automatically). E.Y.E features unlockable weapons, cybernetic implants and PSI powers for you to use as you like, but they cost money and you'll need to have the required skills to use them. The weapons range from melee weapons to handguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, heavy weaponry and grenade launchers. With the cybernetic implants you can see in the dark, become invisible thanks to a cloaking field, visualize sounds through solid structures, etc. With PSI powers, you can summon a nightmarish creature by sacrificing an enemy, summon clones of yourself and even teleport inside the body of an opponent, causing him to blow-up and leave a bloody mess, and more! E.Y.E features a complete research system allowing you to gain access to new technology, weaponry, implants and items. To do so, you can set a number of scientists to do researches on an item you've found during your progress, pay them, and return to happily bashing monsters while those guys do the dirty work for you. You can also play with your friends; team up with another player and play the Cooperative Campaign! Or play the Cooperative Missions with tougher bad guys to earn more money, more experience, more loot, etc, from 2 up to 8 players. :derp: Finally, you can join the official Facebook fan page with the latest media releases here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/EYE-Divin ... 5581114820 You can also join Streum on Studio's Steam group here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/StreumOnStudio Or just take a look at the official website : http://eye.streumon-studio.com/ Quote
