I went to GDC this year (where I met Furyo which was great ) and added some extra days to my stay in California for vacation. I visited a friend in Laguna Beach/Irvine and met up with ex-colleagues and MapCorians who are working for Blizzard these days. 

 

This is me waiting in anticipation:

We had dinner and a few drinks:

 

 

Always great to meet MapCorians IRL. I saw Philip again a few days later in Vegas which was a welcome coincidence I hope to see all of you guys again next year (including that slacker Helder)! Next destination: Stockholm (to visit Nexus).
