Also playing this again as I never finished it as some of the level design is god awful but it's such a fun game. Ugh.

Just managed to beat that bitch that is the last checkpoint in CoD World at War, not sure how many times I've tried it... not sure how are you supposed to make it at Veteran (I played Hardened). Having unlocked it, I gave a spin to the Nazi Zombie mode, and can see the appeal and why it took off. It's also the reason why I haven't insta-deleted the game from the X360, I might play a few more rounds to vent off.

Otherwise I've been playing Quake, believe it or not I only completed it once back when it came out. I've installed all those nice engine updates and mods, and going through the amazing Arcane Dimensions.

Less of the bullshit parts of eco sims like balancing peoples needs constantly when you want to expand, ie

1. I want to progress to the next resource type etc,
2. so i need more people,
3. so i need more products for that type of person,
4. so i need more low level factories for those goods etc etc.

Its an endless loop.

In factorio the only resource that you have to increase to grow is power and occasionally a new patch of ores, which is easy to increase. So you get to expand and progress regularly.

Currently trying to play a death world which is basically with insanely aggressive enemies that constantly grow. You have to progress fast to get good defences and then rank up your military stuff faster than the enemies evolve and become more powerful. Its really fucking hard, have failed 2x so far. Not sure how many more times I'll try.

Had the game for years now. Even had it before it was on steam. Played through once back then.

There's a few on there that I would like to play but as usual, back catalog rules... if there's anything I'd prioritise would be XIII cos I loved the original.

I started Uncharted 2 and gone back to try smashing the remaining challenges in Spider-Man. Also bought Need For Speed as was £3 on the PS Store, thought fuck it. Just have something brainless from time to time.

Risk of Rain 2 is so fucking good. It's one of those games that makes me immediately want to go make games afterwards. It's pure game. So gamey! The gamiest!!
