Seems to me like a bit of an obvious ripoff of Dragon Age, but I guess thats the norm these days, rip off what's successful. This industry never ceases to amaze me... emot_shakehead.gif

What... you mad bro. Just because there's a dragon on it?

but god damn this looks fucking amazing

i bow down before our almighty Bethesda overlords. every single game they've made has seen me sink 40 or 50 hours into it. in the case of Oblivion, i played it for about 3 months straight. and didn't complete it. what a game.

Problem is, I think I'm probably gonna be bored after 10h because it's gonna feel/play exactly the same as Oblivion :/

The first person animations are still stiff :(

But yeah, dunno... Exploring is awsome, really, REALLY liked that in Oblivion and some quests were pretty damn cool! Hmm, now that I'm bringing up memories, this might actually be a lot of fun :)

Should I just skip Marrowind and play Oblivion?

Do you have no ability to tolerate less "real" mechanics like the possibility your weapon can pass through an enemy and "miss" if your skill or stamina is low? Do you prefer generic fantasy worlds and hate original things? Does exploring a volcano sound more or less interesting than exploring a sparsely decorated plain?

Morrowind has the Bloodmoon expansion which will give you a good pretaste for Skyrim.

If you have around 200 hours of free time play both games + expansions.

Yup, morrowind for me was one of those games where I would start playing and say to myself "just an hour of two this time." I look at the clock and it's been 6.

Other way around.

Oblivion's worth it, if for nothing else the expansion pack and the mod Nehrim: Edge of Fate, which is like if a professional developer made a Gothic inspired Elder Scrolls spin-off in the $20/30 range.

Yeah you're right. I'll give you Shivering Isles -- that was great. I've heard of Nehrim but never really looked into it. Is it that good?
