Said Valve’s boss of business dev, Jason Holtman, to Industry Gamers: “Skyrim is the fastest selling title in Steam’s history. Bethesda’s commitment to and understanding of the PC as a gaming platform shows in the great review scores, spectacular launch, and continued high player numbers that Skyrim has received. We are delighted that Bethesda chose to use Steamworks to support Skyrim both at retail and digitally.”

Yup that was it. I gained a 2 hour magicka buff thanks to a side quest in the Mages College.

But I found an exploit with that. It's very easy to level up the illusion skill with Muffle. Someone on youtube recorded it:

yeh the UI isnt great but that isnt the annoying thing for me. Them mixing R with multiple uses like Take all or deposit... and having somethings have Enter or Tab for Yes or No and other things use Y or N. Seriously some fucking consistency to the hotkeys would be great.

Definitely an improvement but it still kinda sucks. I hate having just text to read for items, would be so much nicer if it was more like morrowind :D

There was a mod for Oblivion, Nehrim, that included a Morrowind-esque UI of icons in a grid for normal items, while going back to a list for things like books and keys, it was the best. Hopefully the same can be accomplished for Skyrim.

ive played this game for an inhuman amount of hours over the past 5 days. it's good, it's really fucking good. it makes me think that all rpgs should be like this game. it's a bit sad that there are all those bugs though, i had one with the main quest where i actually had to download some sound files in order for a guy to open a door, which was pretty bad. but i'm kinda taking it like with the stalker games, that mods are a necessary part of the game.

i'm level 33 and basically i feel like i have accomplished nothing in the game world at all. it's like i barely scratched the surface. the only way this game could be made better would be with end game multiplayer pvp against other players. that would be pretty sick.
