I finally finished the game, ending was almost as bad as I came to expect, just sucks that none of your previous decisions had any impact. It was emotional for sure. However, screw it, I got like 30 hours goty quality entertainment so roll on the alternative ending dlc

I also finally finished the game last week. I guess the ending controversy didn't seem to bother me. I thought it was a hell of a great game and worth buying. So color me satisfied. Now I can play something else on my Xbox.

A few WTF's and inconsistencies aside I kind of liked the reject and destroy endings. A big improvement across the board at the very least...

Quite happy with the endings now. The old ones just really didn't make sense. I also liked

shooting at that stupid child triggered the new 4th ending. You could also get it via Renegade dialog options.

The one big F-U the developers put in was disabling the ability to skip dialog and autosaving once you made your final decision, forcing you to sit through the 30 minutes of buildup all over each time you wanted to see the extra endings.

No, you don't have to restart at the Cerberus base each time.
