Nysuatro
I truly loved the first game. But these screens look like they were taken from the previous Batman. Not much has changed. Maybe a good thing ?
-HP-
The first one looks gorgeous, this one looks gorgeous. I don't see how that can be a bad thing!
Vilham
I think the first one probably did as much as it could to look amazing. How much more can they do? I would rather they focused on adding more polished features so the experience stays the same but with newer content.
Evert
For the most part the first game looked supernice, hopefully they get the outdoor terrain environments to look as good as the rest this time. Really didn't like the DOF/Posteffects that so many games on the UE3 use when making larger environments. The game was fucking awesome though, and I'm really looking forward to this. Taylor
I completed the first one over the weekend, played it through on hard and collected all the riddles too. Really fun, solid game and even if AC is just more of the same I'll enjoy it. Harley Quinn should be in her original jester outfit tho'. Hopefully bigger boss fights this time, too. Makes me wonder if 4agames will even bother to enhance their engine for Metro 2034, there's not a lot more they can do to make that look any better either! D3ads
There's a book called Metro 2034 you know, it's not about some guy who walks around the ruins of the city Fallout style...

Metro 2033 follows the book pretty well, it's not exact no but the narrative is there and anyway an open world Metro game would undoubtedly be compared to .S.T.A.L.K.E.R... it annoys me at the amount of people on sites like moddb that draw comparisons of anything Eastern European with an ak-47 in it is like that game, but if Metro did go open world then it would play pretty much the same deal.. just with added metro tunnels. Sentura
i don't see why you brought metal gear into the discussion? sure it uses narrative, but the narrative does in no way bulldoze over the gameplay at any point (even though there may be excessive amounts of it). i think it's hard for westerners in general to picture what is actually going on behind the eastern block, so i wouldn't be surprised if they associate it with stalker (which, in my mind, is also a good thing). i just think it's a shame to not use the metro network to its full potential. i'd love to go off in either of the extreme points and look for what might have been; exploring could be such an integral part of the game... which is why i think it's a shame it needs to be so linear. making something unique just for it to be unique isn't really the best solution, especially not when better solutions (granted, that might be more costly), are presented.
