arhurt
For those of you interested, here is a game I worked on developed in Unity here at Aquiris. Our development happened from concept to final product in under a month, it was me as a designer, two artists and one programmer. Despite being an advergame, I made sure that it was as fun and challenging as I could make with one week of prototyping and one week of playtesting. It turned out pretty OK, but judge it yourselves http://www.nestle.com.br/chandelle/ Click on "Pular" to skip the video, then on "Jogar" to play the game. You will need to install Unity web player if you don't already have it. That video is of an old build, we had to release something for them to make the advertisements. The game is much more polished than it shows there. The game is to be a side scrolling platformer. The instructions (in portuguese) are: [*:pajylymq]Complete the course in the least amount of time, accumulating as many point as you can. [*:pajylymq]Use arrow keys to move sideways, space bar to jump. [*:pajylymq]Grab as many chocolate drops and pots as you can. When you get fill up the bar at the top you get a bonus multiplier! You can log in with your facebook account in the end. The top ranking player will earn a car for a prize, and the other top scores will also earn minor prizes, this only applies to Brazilians though. By the way, my personal top score is 2756 points. See if you can beat me on my own game! (It's already been done, but I cannot disclose the top score, it's secret!) Hope you guys enjoy it! Dorothysb
Congratz Arhurt! I just loved it, so cute and so funny ^__^ !! I had a lot of fun playing it. (you know I'm not a level designer, but if I could use fun as a measure for quality, then you did a great job!) You're really talented! (btw, as you might be guessing I still didn't beat your score... )
FrieChamp
I'm not sure if I agree with the decision to make the player stop when reaching a bonus multiplier but overall I think you did well with the little time you had. arhurt
Thanks a lot guys, means a lot thay you liked it! I'm not sure if I agree with the decision to make the player stop when reaching a bonus multiplier but overall I think you did well with the little time you had. Yeah, that was part miscommunication with the animators and part promises kept to the client that we did not have time to discuss.
