[Crysis SP WIP] Ridge

Introduction

Ridge is a single player level for Crysis and Crysis:Wars (SP). It has been in development for around 8 weeks (in my spare time). This is my second level with the Crysis Sandbox 2 Editor. You can download and play my first level, Utopia. These forums and community were essential in the development process, lots of great help, thanks guys!

The level is large and takes around 90 + minutes to complete. It has non-linear gameplay with multiple paths which I hope you will find challenging and interesting. There are a lots of objectives and AI to make it challenging.

99% complete : In beta testing phase

Story:

Aug 15, 2015:

A heavily armed force of Ex-Military mercinaries were hired to kidnap a high ranking U.S. General.DoD Intel has tracked the hostiles to a remote location in the Canadian Rockies. Extract the hostage and remove all threats.

@FrieChamp - The levels in my signature were released a few years ago. I made those for the Source Engine, mainly DoD:Source. I've since moved on to the CryEngine. It's really a remarkable engine to work with!

My portfolio is being updated now. I will share a link when it's complete !

Update#1

Here are a couple more pics of different areas in the level. The pics also showcase the newly added DOF effect. The DOF effect is player optional. You can turn it on or off with a keypress as much as you like ! lol

These pics show a couple of the many custom models I created and textured for Ridge. A small log cabin and the behemoth Caterpillar dump truck!

Stay tuned for another update and release real soon. I'm in the process of porting the level to run in Crysis still. Barring no serious issues reported in beta testing the level should be released within a few days.

First off:

@ DaanO - Hey man, thanks a lot for the comment! Appreciate it ! This is actually for Crysis and/or Crysis:Wars, not Farcry. If you can run the stock maps in Crysis, you can run this no problem.

@ HP - Cheers man ! Means a lot coming from you ! ..and yes, portfolio is under construction now.

Second beta is about to be tested and barring no serious issues. Release this week. I'll post a link when it's ready !

Hi, does this level works with warhead too? I tried installing it following the intructions provided in the readme, but when I type in the console commands it says its an unknown command?
