ahah, awesome thanks a bunch guys! Here's some more from the same batch. I wanted the look of the photos to look very californian colors too. So yeah, I did look into GTAV style, with warm oranges and purple ambient / shadows, it's an amazing style and you do feel this vibe when you walk around in the street specially during late afternoon.

Thanks man, I'll try and take a photo a day for the duration of this year. Chris Kay is trying to do the same, so I'll try and keep this thread going daily.

Looking back at this Hollywood photo, I really dont like it now, shame, the composition seemed pretty ok when I took it. B&W didn't fix it, but oh well.

I think that's a really cool photo, the only problem is the Hollywood sign is so small it makes it seem a little off somehow. Maybe if you'd used a higher focal length and stood further back (if possible) it would've flattened it a bit so the sign looked bigger in relation to the foreground, but of course it's too late for that now!

But it's still cool to look at and is a way of looking at that hill I've never seen before.

Oh really? That's fantastic man, SF is definitely my all time favourit place on earth, it's really magical.

Will you be able to visit us maybe? If not, I can hop in a plane for a beer man, we must get together somehow.
