Tisky
I recently started watching movies that was made before my birth or movies that i´ve simply missed. To help me with my quest for great movies i want you all to write your favourites. (Atleast the ones you can come up with at the moment, i realize there are many favourite movies). As an example, here´s a list: 1 - Fletch - Starring Chevy Chase, a movie i did not see until recently, and i must say i LOVE 80´s comedy movies. 2 - American History X - Saw it 2 years after release, never heard of it and i was amazed how i could have missed it. 3 - From Dusk Til Dawn - Knew nothing about it, my parents rented it and when the movie turns to a friggin slaughterfest i´m like "FUCK YEAH!" Totally suprised by the twist. 4 - Equilibrium - Simply great. So what do you got?

Steppenwolf
Emil movies are among my most favourite childhood movies. Also i still find them super funny. And when i was in Sweden i used them to learn Swedish.

Duff-e
It's more of a documentary but check out The Pervert's Guide to Cinema. It's 2 hours and 21 minutes of Slavoj Zizek applying Philosophy/Psychoanalysis to a bunch of movies from obscure to hollywood. Here's the list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Perver ... _to_Cinema I would only recommend it if you've watched at least half the movies there or enjoy overthinking a plate of beans. He comes to some pretty outrageous conclusions that even if you don't agree with will probably make you think. It helps that his critical attitude is more of curiosity than arrogance.
