[UT3] DM-Farbrik

Hey Guys! :)

Here's my first map for Unreal Tournament 3.


Duration of development: approx. 2.5 months

Release: 26 February 2010

Players: 8 - 16 Players

Game type: Deathmatch

My first Map with Unreal Engine 3 incl. Matinee, Kismet and Cascade.

After I studied video tutorials for more than twenty hours, I had to try out everything I had learned. This map is the product of my self-education.

DM-Farbrik was to be a color-factory first but by and by I discarded that thought.

A lot of testing and iterating was needed to achieve this result with which I'm very satisfied. At least I learned a lot about lighting and

mapdesign in general.

solid work i geuss !

if you want to build stuff that people will actually play i think making maps for ut3 is not a good idea !

Agree with Warby, but you gotta start somewhere I guess! :)

Some really nice level building with stock assets i'd say. Some areas really need some work, especially the lighting! Good luck and please if you start others post wip's, i'm sure people will help you with it here at the good old core.

      Two new asset releases!

      First up is Basalt. Sadly I can't release all of the assets as some of the nature stuff is from Megascans and can't be redistributed. Also only includes the assets I've made.


      Second one is assets I've made for Pitstop. A small release that includes some road and concrete trim textures, a bunch of sponsors and some skybox buildings that might be useful.


      As always, free for non-commercial use with attribution.
