Froyok Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 Bioshock ... I can not play, I'm always bored on it after 1 or 2 hours ! The game is very slow... (I don't tried the second game) Quote
Serenius Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 Finally finished Crysis and Crysis Warhead over the weekend. I might be in the minority, but I think I liked the linear back half of the game with the aliens fucking up everything in sight more than the more open first half. Quote
Skacky Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 Thief: Gold -- currently at the Bonehoard. I haaaate zombies. Oh that's nothing, wait until you're in the Cathedral. Quote
e-freak Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 Not playing myself but my flatmates make a playthrough session on Half-Life 2 with the projector and it's hella fun to see some one else from outside the industry playing these games and their reactions Quote
Campaignjunkie Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 Oh that's nothing, wait until you're in the Cathedral. I played the original Thief long long ago, but it was a weird pirated version with all the NPC sounds removed... except the Haunt sounds. So I was like, "whoa, NPCs make sounds?!" and was freaking out from all the chains rattling and couldn't take more than 10 steps into the Cathedral before quitting. This time I won't be afraid though! Quote
Serenius Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 Finally giving Fallout: New Vegas a fair shake, and I've been pleasantly surprised. How is it that a scavenging simulator with combat and dialogue can be so addicting? Quote
Vilham Posted November 30, 2010 Report Posted November 30, 2010 K im gunna buy crysis so I can play and mod it on my work PC, my laptop is far too shit to hence why I havent got it yet. As far as modding goes does warhead have enough extra assets to make it worth a purchase? Quote
Taylor Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 I gave up on Final Fantasy 13 after I got to the end dungeon and got my money back, which is a first for a Final Fantasy game even though I was ambivalent about 12. I have, however, picked up Final Fantasy 7 for £7.99 off the PS3 store and played as far as getting spunky Yuffie outside of Juton and I still think it’s a great game free of most of the negative stereotypes. I'm not going to join the masses and say they need to remake this exactly, but at the very least they need to look back and think maybe, just maybe, this is better than straight corridors of automated fights and no customisation between CG sequences of a fireworks display being gawked at by a cast of characters you'd quite happily punch straight in the face. ElectroSheep Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 I actually enjoying it more than the 10 and the 12 I never finished. But I understand why people don't like the 13, it's not really a FF and not really an RPG but you can't deny the game is beautifull and I take a look on each details . If I didn't like characters and if the game wasn't so beautifull, I pprobably never liked it. Quote
FrieChamp Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 I got Left 4 dead 2 for 5 € during the Thanksgiving sale, that's what I call bang for the buck! I also ordered Darksiders for 17 € at play.com, still waiting for it to arrive though. Quote
Sentura Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 hmm sounds like there's something fishy going on with play.com... didn't warby also have problems? Quote
FrieChamp Posted December 5, 2010 Report Posted December 5, 2010 hmm sounds like there's something fishy going on with play.com... didn't warby also have problems? I ordered it one week ago, since the package has to travel from the Commonwealth all the way to the Reich I will cut them some slack! Quote
Taylor Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 I actually enjoying it more than the 10 and the 12 I never finished. If I didn't like characters and if the game wasn't so beautifull, I pprobably never liked it. Well it's all opinions, but I'm genuinely confused about this game. I could see people slogging (and that is the correct verb) through the main story to see the next amazing cutscene or even to finish the storyline, though - and maybe this is me just being thick - I didn't even realise there were two planets until I ended up on the second one. But Gran Pulse missions? Hundreds of hours of automatic battles and fetch quests? I don't get why are people doing this content. Quote
Serenius Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 Finished Monkey Island 2 and Metro 2033 this weekend. Quote
